Happy New Year. My mom left a few days ago and she made it home to the east coast safe and sound hooray. It is funny how we think something is going to go wrong when people are traveling but they are perfectly fine in their everyday life.I am happy to say I stayed awake this year and had to wake up my boyfriend for the first time and tell him to watch the ball drop. The last few years at the holidays I have been working 60 hour weeks so this was a much needed change.
